Lower Lakes Towing, started in the year 1994 as a small tug & barge operator. The company is based in Port Dover, Ontario and operates as a Canadian subsidiary of Rand Logistics. Lower Lakes Towing has a fleet of bulk carriers including the classic laker Saginaw. Their vessels have a gray hull with white trim and a red stripe. This color scheme is shared with sister company Grand River Navigation, which is a U.S. subsidiary of parent company Rand Logistics.
