1,000 foot long Great Lakes freighters, Indiana Harbor and American Century, both of the American Steamship Company, meet on the St. Clair River at the DTE power plant in St. Clair, Michigan. Indiana Harbor is arriving heavy with a load of coal, while American Century is departing after unloading at the plant. The vessels are fleet mates of the same company and exchange a hearty horn salute as they pass each other.
