Canada Steamship Lines, headquartered in Montreal, Quebec, was founded in 1913. According to their website, they are "the world’s largest owner and operator of self-unloading vessels, the third-largest operator of cement carriers, and a leader in high-efficiency transhipment solutions." They operate a variety of self-unloading and gearless bulk carriers on the Great Lakes and St. Lawrence Seaway, including the classic lakers Frontenac, and CSL Tadoussac. The fleet is easily recognizable, with their bright red hulls with white trim and lettering.
